Trailer for Spotlight Series Closing Film, Give Up TomorrowGive Up Tomorrow is a documentary that examines classism, politics and capital punishment in the Philippines through the cases of Marijoy and Jacqueline Chiong, two young Chinese-Filipino women who were murdered and raped after they disappeared on a stormy night. The film follows Paco Larranaga, as he is unjustly incarcerated by law and society, as well as the grief of both Larranaga and Chiongs' mothers. It explores corruption in a Kafkaesque government and society in an attempt to expose injustice in the complex political climate of the Philippines.
